What We Believe

Our Statement of Beliefs reflects the foundational truths of the Christian faith that guide our worship, teaching, and daily living. Rooted in Scripture and centered on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, these beliefs shape who we are as a church and how we serve God, one another, and our community. They express our shared commitment to biblical truth, spiritual growth, and living out the hope found in Christ.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the true and infallible Word of God, serving as the ultimate authority for life and faith. (2 Timothy 3:16, 1 Corinthians 14:37)

One True God

We believe in one true God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who was crucified, died, and rose again on the third day. He is the only way to God the Father. (John 14:6)

Salvation

Every person is born with a sinful nature and needs salvation through Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:15-17)

Speaking in Tongues

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:4, 1 Corinthians 14:2)

Life After Death

Eternal life begins when we accept Christ, but our final destination depends on whether we choose to follow Him. (John 3:36, John 5:24)

Healing

We believe in divine healing which is the restoration of health to one who believes and acts on the word of God and that Jesus Christ is the healer. We further believe that by the stripes of Jesus we are healed. We also support intervention of medical treatment. Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24

Water Baptism

We practice baptism by immersion for believers. Infants are dedicated rather than baptized. (Matthew 3:13-15)

Tithes and Offerings

We believe that the Bible clearly teaches the believer to tithe their income and to give free will offering to the local church for the advancement of the Gospel. We believe in giving alms and caring for the poor, sick, homeless, and otherwise less fortunate. (Malachi 3:10; Leviticus 27:30-33)
